Some photographers have an exceptional eye, capturing a split second, or creating an odd backdrop with a very well-known face, and making it more powerful. I am a big fan of Gregory Heisler. His images of big super stars that seem untouchable become more human, and more like us, while capturing a spirit that makes you understand why they became superstars in the first place. Sounds simple enough, but there are very few photographers that are true artists.
All images are from the Daily Mail column featuring his work.
Hugh Grant out for a little ride while shooting Four Weddings and a Funeral. There is something very kid like about Hugh’s expression, and the least sarcastic look I have ever seen on his face.
