A genius that rode a bicycle

A very happy happy Wednesday., or hump day, which ever you call it! It is sunny, warm, and a perfect day to find some light reading, or maybe some heavy reading. In some senses, any reading about Albert Einstein is both light and heavy, depending on what you are reading.

Albert Einstein was a genius, became a vegetarian late in life, and was also seen on his bicycle.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge.”

Albert Einstein

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving” He claimed to have thought of the Theory of Relativity while riding on his bicycle.

“A human being is a part of a whole, called by us _universe_, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest… a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”
